Dear authors:

Please find attached an MS Word document providing: the session number, the session chair and chair e-mail address, the paper number and the date of your presentation at the AAS/AIAA Astrodynamics Specialist Conference in Big Sky, Montana, 3-7 August 2003.

Please read carefully the information below.

Hardcopies of Papers

In accordance with our "No paper, no podium" rule, you must deliver 50 copies of your paper, along with the camera-ready original as defined in the AAS format instructions, at the preprint room of the conference at the Big Sky Resort before the day and time you will be making your presentation. Color is certainly welcome in the hardcopies you deliver, but the master copy for reproduction in the proceedings must be in shades of gray. Detailed author information (cover page, paper format, etc) can be found on-line at:

[Note: use the AASFormat.PDF download only. A copy of that and a cover page template are attached to this message.]

You may ship the 50 hardcopies of your paper directly to the Big Sky Resort. In order to ensure the successful arrival of your shipment, please mark all packages with your name, your arrival date at the conference and the conference name (AAS/AIAA Astrodynamics Conference).  Allow enough time for shipment. Note that there is no weekend delivery at the Big Sky Resort. Big Sky Resort is a drop site for Federal Express, UPS and Parcel Post.  Local phone number is 406-995-5000.  The physical address is: Big Sky Resort, One Lone Mountain Trail, PO Box 160001, Big Sky, MT 59716.

Presentation

You will be allocated a total of 20 minutes for your presentation. This period includes the question period (typically 5 minutes) and the time required for change-over and installation. Each room will be equipped with an overhead projector and a LCD projector. Please notify the Technical Chairs if you need any additional equipment. We strongly encourage you to bring your presentation on a CD ROM as a back-up. If you intend to use a portable computer, we recommend that you charge your computer before the session and to have the computer booted and ready when it is your time to present. We also recommend that you arrive early to test your equipment prior to the start of the session.

Approvals

Please make sure you receive all necessary approvals for your paper and presentation before the conference, including external publication rights and technology export considerations.

We kindly ask you

(1) to acknowledge receipt of this email to both Technical Chairs and to your Session Chair and
